500 Thousand Campaign
The academy
has experienced its darkest hour and is currently rebounding
from this dark era. The current Board of Trustees has brought
the school back into the light and has her on sound footing.
We are confidently meeting our monthly obligations and
have educational activites taking place on campus. However,
we still do not have our "Classical
Christian Academy" up and running. It is rime to launch
an aggressive campaign to ensure the future of the Academy.
Our
ultimate goal is to have K-12 once again fully operational.
To be able to operate and not face possible closure, we
plan to accomplish this in three separate phases. Phase
one will be the Primary and Elementary School or grades
K-5, phase two will be the Middle School or grades 6-8
and phase three will be the High School or grades 9-12.
Phase one will be the most cost consuming and important,
therefore, it will be divided into three distinct steps.
That is why we are calling this The
500 Thousand Campaign.
We feel that the school's
record justifies our asking for charitable gifts toward
the reinstatement of the "Classical
Christian Academy." As adult citizens,
we must show concern for the educational world in which our
young people are trained. It matters not how fast paced our
society becomes; there will always be a place and a demand
for Washington College Academy. How else can we provide for
a decent world in which our children and grandchildren will
build homes, earn a living and bless their creator?
If you desire to help in any way with 500
Thousand Campaign, please contact our Buisiness Office at (423) 257-5151.
